Getting Weird With Worldbuilding

Life is strange. Lean into it.

The Sirens Conference was amazing. Truly, one of those experiences that was life changing. I had the opportunity to listen and talk with so many people about work they are passionate about.

This newsletter draft initially started differently, but after Sirens I was inspired to take a different approach. So this month, I want to ramble about getting WEIRD with worldbuilding, and the worldbuilding of Devouring Fortune specifically.

In this month's newsletter, I'm going to talk about the following:

Monthly musings, updates, short fiction and bonus content from Oleander.

  • Early access to upcoming books and writing projects.
Read previews, excerpts, and works in progress before they appear anywhere else.
  • Read short fiction only available to members.
Paid supporters have access to flash fiction and short stories exclusive to supporters.
  • Behind-the-scenes peeks into in-progress and finished book art.
Paid supporters get to see art early!

A newsletter for readers who enjoy queer, dark fantasy, essays & reflections, and want a look into what Oleander is up to.
